my family has never believed in flying somewhere if its within driving distance – so this spring break we drove to colorado!! the best part about this road trip was the fact that your surroundings completely change every few hours. flat to rocky to snow-capped mountains – you get a taste of it all when driving there at this time of year and it’s really incredible.
keystone and breckenridge have been two of our favorite towns ever since we hopped on the go skiing over spring break bandwagon in 2014. we love keystone for their gorgeous slopes and breckenridge for their ridiculous food choices – so the fact that the two are also only a 30 minute drive away from each other makes it our perfect spot to take a vacation!!
crepes – you’ll have to wait in a mile long line while slowly freezing to death, but if you make it to the counter you’ll get a warm, fluffy crepe to warm your icy hands 😉
so thankful I got to share this adventure with all three of my favorite people. what a crazy awesome blessing it is that we get to make all of these memories together as a family!
of course you can make s’mores at your table. the Motherloaded Tavern in breckenridge is by far one of the best in the city, you’ll understand why once you’ve tried their mac and cheese I promise.
